The Iowa Holocaust Memorial was a project of the Jaqueline and Myron Blank Fund of Des Moines, Iowa.
Plans for the Memorial were approved by the Iowa State Capitol Planning Commission
Initial Design of the Memorial was produced via a contest for students guided by faculty within the Iowa State University's College of Design.
